Looking forward for centuries

Tiwanaku

This statue represented one of the political leaders of the Tiwanaku culture and was covered with symbols of Aymara culture including the sun, condors and pumas. You can just make out channels for his tears on either side of his nose, a symbol that he had a vision for the future.
