As the sun rose, it was greeted by various groups playing pipes and drums with a hair-tingling dissonance (called Octoctono). But the music then changed as lots of the groups got together and started jamming. This led to a spontaneous conga that weaved its way through the crowds brandishing indigenous wiphala (rainbow-coloured) flags.
