Guarani singer

Porto Alegre

This singer led a group of young people performing at the beginning of a WSF ecumenical plenary. The Guarani are one of the more than 200 indigenous groups in Brazil. Whereas at the start of the century the Guarani Kaiová Indians occupied 25% of the Brazilian state, Mato Grosso do Sul, today 25,000 of them live on just 1% of the state.
