Ever since I chose my Bolivian football team because they won a derby convincingly, my team have lost consistently. The Weakest seemed a more apt title. The only thing they seemed to be any good at were songs, with a well-know Bolivian guitar player composing the tunes. |
But this year, the papers have been full of news about a new turn in the team. A huge amount was made of the fact that they had been doing high-altitude training near Oruro, which seemed a bit ridiculous as it is only 300 metres higher. I assumed it was all hype.
But no. We smashed those rubbish Bolivaristas yesterday afternoon. 4-2!!! And it could have been more. Everyone is saying "we will be hard to beat." Strongistas, here we go.....
Hi Nick, we met up in July/August 2005 in Cbba, at the house of Jim Shultz...
Just wanted to say.. Bolivarista all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, hope the best team wins, as my dad always used to say..
